A message from Helen

If on the night of 31st December last year, as we tooted our horns and quaffed our drinks, and kissed strangers, if we had know what was to follow, all the lights would have been put out and everyone told to go home. I cannot say Happy New Year, this year, because so very many are struggling and saddened by the loss of loved ones, the loss of a job, the loss of housing. We will need to love and support our fellow citizens where it is needed, to think about others as much as ourselves and make 2021 a communal New Year. I believe that is what will happen. We will all celebrate the New Year without strangers, but I believe that the good Samaritan has been awakened in us and will make for a much better New Year.
